Celebrate Family Day with an active outing - join us for a special FREE swim on Mon. Feb. 20,11AM-2:30PM!

You started strong in January - now keep it rolling! It's easy to drop away after the rush of resolutions and new routines, so we're here to encourage you to keep going! Register using the links below:
NEW! Pilates Fusion: Concentrate on strengthening the body with emphasis on the “Powerhouse” core strength. This program fuses yoga, strength training, and the ballet barre.
Aquatic Fitness: It's not too late to register! Experience the gentle strengthening, lengthening, and balancing benefits of yoga, while the support and warmth of the water help you move at your own pace.
Aqua Yoga: Tuesdays, 1-1:45PM
Aqua Zumba: Mondays, 7-8PM
Personal Training & Exercise Rehab: Move better, feel better, and live better with an active lifestyle! We can develop an exercise plan specifically for you, or help you modify activities to your condition or injury, and support you in performing exercises safely and effectively. Birthday Parties
WSPR is now offering activity birthday parties! We have sports parties, under-5 children’s parties, swim parties and teen parties on weekends. 2.5 hours, up to 20 participants for $220 + tax. Bring all your snacks, decorations, and dessert for a nice gathering away from your living room, with room to play.

The Spring 2023 Activity Guide will be viewable online at 12PM on March 31.

April 5, 6AM: General registration & advanced aquatics

April 13, 6AM, School-age, private and adult lessons
Just for Youth
Youth Pickleball: Come and learn to play the sport everyone is talking about! Pickleball is a racket/paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It's easy to learn and a blast to play! Sessions will include a lesson and playing component. Paddles provided. Register now!
Wednesday Night Youth Drop-in: Enjoy the last skating opportunities before the ice comes out - join us for a $2 drop-in with skating, followed by activities in the youth room & sports floor.

Reservable Drop-in Ball Hockey
For players 19+, come on down and hit the indoor sports floor for some fun, non-contact 4-on-4 (one goalie, three-out) ball hockey. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:15-9:15PM.
Sign up online or call reception at 250-478-8384 to reserve your spot. Goalies play for free - please register as a goalie. Plastic or taped blades only – sticks are provided.
Preschool Programs - NEW! Active Start Reservable Drop-in
Looking for some active fun with your little ones? We have the coolest new program for you! Active Start, for children walking-5 years, is packed with ride-on toys, kindergym equipment, bouncy castle and a whole lot of sports equipment that will have your toddler running, bouncing, balancing, shooting and kicking to their hearts content.
Mondays 10:30AM-12PM. Register online up to 2 weeks in advance to secure your spot. Drop-in is available if space allows; please pay at reception ($3.95/child).

Nature Preschool Camp (3-5 years): Come discover what's outside in nature! This play-based outdoor camp allows children to run, jump, play, and engage in active outdoor play, nature arts, and exploration of the beautiful wonders of nature. We will be outside rain or shine each day.

Spring Into Action (4-5 years): This spring break camp is filled with different themes each day and includes outside time in nature, science, and arts and crafts. Bugs, butterflies, nature walks, science experiments, and much more make this week fun and full of adventure.

10-Month Preschool Programs (September 2023 - June 2024):
Registration for families new to our preschool programs opens Monday, March 6.
Discovery Preschool (3-4 Years): Choose between a shorter morning or afternoon program or combine the two programs for full daycare. Programs will balance indoor and outdoor preschool programming along with hands-on learning with colours, numbers, science, nature, arts & crafts, physical literacy, and more.
Inside Out Preschool (3-5 Years): Monthly play and nature-based themes make this a learning environment full of fun. A balance of activities for the little learners includes literacy, numbers, and arts and crafts, and physical literacy combined with lots of outdoor nature time exploring the vast JDF site.
Kinderprep (4-5 Years): An active program for children entering kindergarten the following year, Kinderprep gives children the academic & social tools to start their school life in the most positive way. Children will spend their day moving, creating, playing and exploring, learning how to express themselves and form ideas.
Nature Preschool (3-5 Years): Utilizing the beautiful and varied 109 acres at WSPR, this is an all-outdoor, all-weather early childhood education program. Child-led daily adventures in nature, artistic expression, and imaginative play will help children explore and deepen their understanding of the natural world and their place within it.
