New Day Care, Preschool & After School Care Spaces are Coming

To meet the growing demand for licensed childcare on the West Shore, WSPR was a recipient of a combined total of $3.8M in grant funding from the Union of BC Municipalities and Ministry of Children and Family Development.

The grant funding will facilitate a renovation to the upstairs of the JDF Recreation Centre to create the new West Shore Parks & Recreation Childcare Centre.

Our winter golf pass is now on sale.

Enjoy unlimited rounds of golf, seven days a week from October through the end of March for only $250 plus tax.

The Juan de Fuca par 3 golf course consists of nine beautifully manicured holes. With yardage ranging from 79 to 170 and seven water hazards, this course is considered by many as the most challenging par 3 course on the on the island yet still ideal for beginners and families alike.

Join us for preschool, school age and adult dance programs starting in mid-September. Whether you are a beginner or experienced dancer, our instructors will provide a fun, creative, inclusive and safe environment.

8,000 Meals Served

West Shore Parks & Recreation Serves Over 8000 Meals to Vulnerable Members of the West Shore Community!
 
When COVID lockdown began in March, WSPR Food and Beverage Services refocused the catering operation into a frozen meal production facility to help the west shore community. Over the past few months our team has been quietly working with local agencies to help feed those who are struggling to make ends meet and to date the meal count that had gone out the door had reached over 8000!
